Girls Tennis Won the CIAC Class S State Championship, 4th Consecutive Time!

We are thrilled to announce that Lyme-Old Lyme Girls Tennis achieved a remarkable feat by defeating Valley with a score of 5-2 to secure the Class S State Championship for the fourth consecutive season! The match sheet detailing the exciting victory is below for your enjoyment.
It was truly an outstanding performance by our girls' tennis team, demonstrating their exceptional skills and teamwork. Despite the challenges of the semifinals being postponed, our girls showed resilience and determination, emerging triumphant in the end.
Match Results:

• 1st Singles: Elaina Morosky claimed victory with a score of 6-4, 6-2.
  
• 2nd Singles: Katherine Zhang dominated with a perfect score of 6-0, 6-0.
  
• 3rd Singles: Emma Arelt displayed her strength by winning 1-6, 6-4, 6-3.
  
• 4th Singles: Rose Dimmock put up a great fight but unfortunately lost 3-6, 4-6.
  
• 1st Doubles: Aggie Hunt and Beatrice Hunt secured a solid win of 6-2, 6-2.
  
• 2nd Doubles: Natalie Buckley and Stella Young displayed excellent teamwork despite losing with a score of 5-7, 3-6.
  
• 3rd Doubles: Allegra Schaedler and Ada LaConti delivered a thrilling performance, winning 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.
