French Club and French Honor Society
Description: French Club is a student-centered group for those interested in learning about Francophone language and cultures.
French Honor Society (SHF)is an organization whose intent is to recognize high school students in the United States who have maintained excellent grades in at least three semesters of French language courses. The SHF promotes knowledge of Francophone cultures and supports causes that benefit French speakers around the world.

Meeting Time(s): Meetings alternate with French Club every other week switching with French Honor Society from 7:15-7:35 am on Mondays in room 243.
Advisor: Ms. Maureen Lefevre.
Events: Members experience and promote Francophone cultures through sampling cuisine, watching movies and attending events, such as museum exhibits, concerts and performances. Events are during the school year and occur typically after school. Field trips may occur during the school day. The length of each event varies.
Commitment/Expectations for attendance for meetings, practice(s), and/or event(s):
Members are expected to plan, participate and engage in the club's planned events and fundraisers. This club expects a minimal commitment from students of one meeting per month.
