Osprey Online
Description: Osprey Online was founded to meet Lyme-Old Lyme High School’s growing need for a student-run newspaper to deliver daily news, sports scores, creative writing, visual art, and editorials. Osprey Online officially began in 2015 and is staffed by a diverse group of students from all grade levels. Visit ospreyonline.org for the latest articles written, edited, and published by our student editors and contributors.
How to get involved: Contact Mr. Raiti and attend a meeting if you are interested.
Meeting Time(s): TBD
Advisor: Mr. Raiti
Commitment/Expectations for attendance for meetings, practice(s), and/or event(s):
This club expects a minimum commitment of 30 min. - 2 hours per week, depending on each student's role within the club. It is strongly recommended that students attend at least one weekly meeting a month to generate ideas and assign, write, edit, and publish articles. Sign-in to weekly meetings is not required, as remote participation is acceptable. If students cannot attend a weekly meeting, it is expected that they make regular contact (once weekly) with their section editors. Students who do not generate content, attend weekly meetings, and/or make regular contact with section editors for three chronological weeks will be asked to leave the club.
