Student Advisory Council
Description: The Student Advisory Council (SAC) is the voice of the students. With representation from each grade, this group advises and assists the Assistant Principal in the planning, organizing and implementing programs and events that impact the school.
How to get involved: Email Ms. Manfredi
Meeting Time(s): Every other Friday (2nd and 4th) morning at 7:00 am in the LMC. In fall semester, we will meet more often - on alternate Fridays as well in TASC (rm 233). If you would like to join, please email Ms Manfredi (manfredij@region18.org) or come to a meeting!
Advisor: Ms. Manfredi
Events: Preparing for school assemblies and school activities. Events last anywhere from 1-3 hours during the school day.
Commitment/Expectations for attendance for meetings, practice(s), and/or event(s):
This club expects a moderate commitment from students (1-4 hours per week). Students must attend Friday morning meetings - if absent they must let advisor or officers know prior to the meeting. After three missed meetings without notice, student will be considered dropped. Students are expected to participate (plan, organize or prepare) at least 3 events throughout the school year.
