Unified Athletics
Description: The purpose of Unified Athletics is to facilitate a connection between students with and without disabilities through the activity of athletic games. During Unified Sports contests, all students work together on the same team to achieve a simple principle: training together and playing together to create a path to friendship and understanding.

Events: Attend practice and events as frequently as possible. Events take place at different schools in the Shoreline Conference. Schedules sent out a month at a time and are subject to change.

- Tuesdays 2:30 - 3:30 (practice at LOLHS)
- Thursdays 2:30 - 4:30 (events) at another location or school

- attend 2 Unified Sports contests a month
- many of the students who wish to become involved in Unified Athletics are also athletes for additional sports teams in the LOLHS Community. It is understood that at times, partners of the LOLHS Community may not be able to participate in Unified Athletics as frequently as expected. Missing practice/contests due to LOLHS Athletics involvement is acceptable, but participation in Unified Athletics whenever possible is highly encouraged.
