WLYM (LOLHS Newscast)
Description: : WLYM student news is a weekly news program serving the students and faculty of our high school. It is a working club where students deliver weekly news assignments along with editing and production. Students on the WLYM team shoot, edit, and produce each of the week's news segments. They then work together to produce the show with news desk, anchor and more.
How to get involved: See Mr. Goss and/or Mr. Raucci
Meeting Time(s): We meet during Homeroom Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays in the TV studio located off of the Library Media Center.

Commitment/Expectations for attendance for meetings, practice(s), and/or event(s):
This club expects a minimal commitment from students (30 min - 1 hour/week). Students will attend weekly homeroom meetings. Attendance is taken at meetings. Students must submit 4 news pieces per marking period (approximately 8 hours/marking period). The producer and editor of WLYM put in a significant amount of time for each newscast. These roles are a moderate commitment (2-5 hours/week).
