The final day to accept registration online is Monday, November 20th for Girls Basketball, Fencing and all Middle School Sports and Monday, November 27th for all other sports. To prevent from being held out of practice, begin the registration process and submit all required documents as soon as possible. In order to participate in ANY sport a student-athlete must have meet all requirements stated in the Lyme-Old Lyme Athletic Handbook. The Mandatory High School Winter Sports Night for parents and players will be Thursday, November 16th at 6:30pm in the High School Auditorium. Middle School will be receiving information from their coaches during the second week of November. All try-out and season information will come directly from coaches. Wednesday, November 1st: WINTER SPORTS REGISTRATION OPENS in FamilyID Thursday, November 16th: ImPact Testing for HS Girls Basketball & Fencing @ 2:30pm (Room 110) Thursday, November 16th: Mandatory Winter Parent/Student Team Night @ 6:30pm (HS ONLY) Friday, November 17th: ImPact Testing for High School @ 2:30pm (High School Room 110) Monday, November 20th: REGISTRATION CLOSES for Girls Basketball, Fencing and All MS Sports Monday, November 27th: REGISTRATION CLOSES FOR ALL WINTER SPORTS Monday, November 27th: HS Girls Basketball, Fencing and MS Sports Begin Monday, November 27th: ImPact Testing for Boys Basketball @ 2:30pm (HS Room 110) Tuesday, November 28th: ImPact Testing for Indoor Track @ 2:30p Girls, 3:30p Boys (HS Room 110) Wednesday, November 30th: ImPact Testing for All Other Sports/Make-Ups @ 2:30pm (HS Room 110) Saturday, November 2nd: All Winter Sport Begin ***Season schedules can be found at www.region18.org under “Athletics” CHECKLIST FOR PARTICIPATION IN WINTER SPORTS: Complete the online athletic registration at www.familyid.com Confirm with nurse’s office that your physical is up to date (must be within the last 13 months) Confirm with Athletic Trainer that ImPact Test (concussion baseline) is up to date. Be sure that there are NO outstanding balances on your school account. (posted on the parent portal in PowerSchool) or Contact Pat Bugbee in the Main Office Review the Lyme-Old Lyme Athletic Handbook located on the Region 18 webpage REGISTRATION PROCESS: Our schools sport registration is offered via online registration through Familyid.com. FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides you with an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs, and helps us to be more administratively efficient. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You enter your information only once for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs, you will only ever need to update information and resubmit each athletic season. If you do not remember your password use the “forgot password” rather than creating a new account. By creating a new account all information stored prior will be lost and requires longer time to be approved. ***When completing the online registration, you will be fulfilling the requirement for the following forms and agreements.
At any time, you may log in at www.familyid.com to update your information and to check your registration(s) and athlete status. To view a completed registration, select the 'Registration' tab on the blue bar.
