Indoor Track & Field Class S State Championship Results...Girls Earn Runners-Up!

On Thursday, the boys and girls track team competed in the Class S State Championship. 

Overall:  the Girls earned the  title of Class S Runners-Up, Boys placed 11th overall.

• Girls 4x800 took 1st place: Maddy Morgado, Aggie Hunt, Lyla Powers, Chase Gilbert 9:49.96 (splits: 2:30, 2:31, 2:31, 2:16 respectively)- school record
• Girls 600m 3rd place: Lyla Powers 1:43.45
• Girls 1000m 4th place girls 1000m: Maddy Morgado 3:11.95
• Girls 3200m 1st place : Chase Gilbert 10:54.12- school record
• Zoe Eastman-Grossel takes 2nd place in the girls 55 Hurdles with a time of 9.09 (9.05 during the prelims)
• girls 4x400 2nd place: Maddy Morgado, Aggie Hunt, Lyla Powers, Chase Gilbert (splits: 65.8, 65.7, 64.1, 64.1)- school record
  

• Boys 4x800 3rd place: Eric Dagher, Gabe Tooker, Dylan Hovey, Marco Supersano 8:41.79 (splits: 2:11, 2:09, 2:10, 2:09 respectively) 
• 1st place boys shot put: Dylan Sheehan 51'2" - Heading to the state open championship
