​The Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS) created another informative bulletin board explaining environmental issues in Latin American countries and how they have affected and are impacting latino culture and life. We explored different areas of environmental problems such as deforestation, palm oil production, mass domestic animal production, and illegal mining. Furthermore, we also found someways to help lessen our use of palm oil, which is mostly produced in South America and devastates latin American people and ecological systems. We are very interested in how we can help prevent further destruction and create awareness in our local community.
