On May 25, 2021, seven LOLHS sophomores were inducted into the LOLHS chapter of the French National Honor Society (la Société Honoraire de Français). To gain membership, students must maintain an average of 90 or above in French for three consecutive semesters, and show a positive attitude toward learning about the French language and Francophone cultures. During the year, honor society members plan events to benefit organizations in the French-speaking world. This year, the group was able to support Nofy i Androy, an organization in Madagascar dedicated to helping young women gain access to education
