 Caroline Doughty, lifelong resident of Old Lyme, has been driving a school bus for District 18 for a remarkable 48 years and plans to retire at the end of October. According to her family, one of the most rewarding experiences has been driving the children of former students that she used to transport.
If Ms. Doughty has been you or your child's bus driver, would you please share a short note of congratulations or memories? We will put them together and present them to her with some flowers or balloons on her last day of work. If you have friends or neighbors who also know Ms. Doughty, please spread the word.
