Wednesday was a busy day for our some of our LOLHS students. In the morning at 9 am, the National Honor Society inducted 45 new members. Then at 7 pm, the induction ceremonies continued as the Spanish National Honor Society welcomed in 44 new members. National Honor Society InductionCongratulations to the newly inducted National Honor Society members. Last years inductees presented this years group by reading a brief biography of each student. It was an impressive and elegant ceremony followed by a festive reception in the Library Media Center . A special thank you to Mrs. Trost and Mrs. Cox for their leadership and guidance. SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTIONSpanish Scholars were inducted into Lyme-Old Lyme High School's chapter of La Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, "Los caminantes de Machado." These students are recognized for their excellence in language learning and exploration of hispanic culture. They have worked tirelessly this year impacting our local, national and international communities. After the ceremony, students and families enjoyed some hispanic foods brought in by the students. A special thanks to Sr. Vazquez for his efforts in coordinating a special evening. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEWLY INDUCTED MEMBERS!
