On Friday, February 3, students listened attentively to Chris Herren share his experiences about drug addiction. He was one of the most compelling speakers I have ever heard and more importantly, the feedback from students, teachers and parents alike, indicated that they felt the same way. Due to the support and planning of our Lymes' Youth Service Bureau and the amazing efforts of all the students in REACH (Responsible Educated Adolescents Can Help) the day was a true success. #ProAtBeingMe campaign began with a bang! The idea came from Chris Herren himself... basically, when we are "pros" at being ourselves, we don't need turn to drugs or alcohol. REACH students are planning on continuing the "#ProAtBeingMe" through various activities through out the rest of the year. The goal is to help students feel good about themselves and support each other at being a "PRO"! Take a look at this this great video created and produced by the students of REACH!
