LOLHS Latin scholars participate in The National Latin to demonstrate their achievement in the study of Latin.
The National Latin Exam is an opportunity for students to experience a sense of personal accomplishment and success through the study of the Latin language and culture.  The opportunity exists for each individual student since he or she is not competing with fellow students on a comparative basis, but is evaluated solely on his or her own performance on the exam.
