Dear Region 18 Families, The Region 18 School District is excited to share with you a unique opportunity taking place on Sunday, March 24, 2019. In partnership with Scholar Search Associates, local and national educational vendors/centers, and our own Region 18 staff, we are excited to announce our first educational forum hosted at Lyme-Old Lyme High School. This is a free event open to families across Connecticut. Please see the flyer below as well as the information provided The Lyme-Old Lyme Public School District and Scholar Search Associates are presenting an Educational Forum for Families on Sunday, March 24th, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you have students in 4th through 12th grades, come attend the Educational Forum at the Lyme-Old Lyme High School (69 Lyme Street) in Old Lyme. The Forum is open and FREE to the public and includes presentations for parents from experts that address online learning, the power of creative thinking, college admission, meeting the needs of capable and gifted students and a lot more. Meanwhile, there are interactive workshops for students on such topics as public speaking, Zen and the art of relaxation, stop motion animation, exploration in ecology, and thinking in 3D.
