  This coming Friday, while the senior class is enjoying their senior trip, LOLHS will welcome our incoming class of 2021. As part of our Eighth Grade Orientation (EGO) students will begin with a "meet and greet" with some upper classmen and faculty followed by a teacher /student panel discussion. They will attend a class with an upperclassman and find out about all the activities the high school has to offer by checking out our club fair. At noon we will all enjoy a BBQ lunch together while listening to the tunes of a Connecticut Military Rock Band featuring our own Mr. Hibson, LOLMS Library Media Specialist. To close the day, all students will partake in their end of year class meeting and class elections ... Eight Graders will meet their Freshman Class Advisers, Mrs Trost and Mrs Fried, and plan the excitement of freshman year after voting in next years class officers! It will be an exciting, informative and successful orientation.
