 The 2019 High School Scholar of the Year program, presented by The Day and the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut, honors outstanding student leaders from our area high schools. Local high schools have each selected one senior-year student to receive recognition at a Breakfast and Awards Ceremony. Honorees have high academic achievement, demonstrate leadership and other positive traits, and engage in extracurricular and community activities. This years recipient is Kathryn Atkinson!
