As we continue to gather feedback from our stakeholders, perfect our live-streaming techniques, and see a growth in our remote-learning population, the high school will now live-stream all classes for remote learners.
We have found that students who attend their classes live, have more engagement in the lesson, and receive more timely feedback. Our teachers overwhelmingly are excited about this change.
Beginning on Monday December 14th, students who are learning remotely will follow their daily schedule and join all of their classes live. Our teachers will continue to record and post their lessons until December 23rd.
When we return to school on Monday January 4th, we will no longer record lessons. There will be no change in our attendance practices for remote learners but these students are expected to engage daily in all of their classes.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
Have safe and happy holiday season.
