LOLHS' Field Day 2023

This past week, LOLHS' Student Leaders sponsored our Spring Spirit Week full of Wildcat Pride  culminating with Field Day on Thursday. We followed the half day schedule and at 11:20, the entire school enjoyed a wonderful BBQ lunch prepared by our amazing kitchen staff. No matter where you were, students and faculty were having fun whether it was listening to our live band perform, eating unlimited ice cream, playing volleyball, whiffle ball, ping pong, or basketball,  or singing  Karaoke, relaxing on the field,  playing yard games, frisbee, or participating in one of the 6 different wellness booths sponsored by LYSB. The choices were seemingly endless. LYSB also sponsored our Alum, Emma Boardman, serving up Del's Lemonade all afternoon! The weather was perfect and with all the activities, it made for a wonderful, fun packed afternoon! It was a really great way to welcome in summer, enjoy each other's company outside of the classroom, and relax just a bit before we begin to  wrap up the end of the year and prepare for exams.
