Thanks to a generosity of the Florence Griswold museum, the LOLHS Local History Club got a free "behind the scenes" interactive tour of the main house. The participants learned about the extensive preservation efforts of the museum to help bring the history and art of Old Lyme alive. The local history club has been invited to contribute to a new interactive website, set to be published in 2018. This website will help elementary students learn about Connecticut history and art... right here in our back yard! Comments are closed.
