By Laura Nelson The Lyme-Old Lyme Mock Trial team won their second CT State Championship on Wednesday. Led by senior captain Delaney Nelson, the team defeated Fairfield-Ludlowe High School for the second year in a row. Simon Karpinski was named Best Attorney after giving a compelling closing statement. Ella Halsey was named Best Witness for her excellent testimony. The team will be competing at the National High School Mock Trial Championship which is being held in Wilmington, Delaware this year on May 2nd-5th. WAY TO GO WILDCATS &
