The United States Crystal Growing Competition is an important scientific outreach activity designed to provide K-12 grade students a fun, hands-on STEM experience as well as an exciting competition. The objective is to grow the biggest and highest quality single crystal. The crystal growing period was from October 18 to November 22, 2021. Judging was held at the Texas A&M University. The winning crystals become part of a permanent display at the Department of Chemistry at the University at Buffalo. Comments are closed.
