Andy Raucci and Catherine DiMella have been working tirelessly to create an IT Tech Help Desk to service the students and staff of LOLHS. With the 1:1 initiative, there is clearly a need! Currently, they have 11 students receiving credit as an Independent Study in Technology Support . The students are helping with repairs and questions of all kinds. There are students of varying abilities, they are all eager to learn and to support students and staff. Soon, they will be able to dive in with web design, creating tutorials, and studying some of our software in depth.
The new team looks forward to the delivery of a new help desk! The temporary desk is set up in the library and is currently staffed with students periods 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8. Their goal is to either fix the issue, or issue a “spare” within 5 minutes whenever possible so that missed class time is kept to a minimum. So, if your son or daughter comes home with a technology issue and does not know where to go… , please be sure to send them to our new IT Tech Help Desk! 10/1/2016 05:54:38 am
