The New England Music Festival was established in 1927 it is one of the oldest music festivals in our country and the first conductor of this festival was John Philp Sousa. Students are adjudicated at a Solo Ensemble Festival and if they score high enough, they are chosen to participate in the Concert festival. This year’s concert festival was held at Woodstock Academy in Woodstock CT March 21-23, 2019. We are very proud of the six students chosen for this honor Kate Cheney, Nevin Joshy, Benton Arafeh-Hudson, Cameron Gagnon, Jonathan Hamilton and Haley Stevens.
