Health Office Message Concerning Student Illness: Cold and flu season has arrived here at LOLHS. These illnesses spread through respiratory droplets caused by coughing or sneezing. It usually spreads from person to person, though occasionally a person may become infected by touching something with the virus on it and then touching their nose or mouth. It is important for us all to practice illness prevention strategies which are listed below.
Fever of 100 degrees or greater. Students should be fever-free without use of a fever-reducing medication for a minimum of 24-48 hours before returning to school.
