The National Honor Society recognizes outstanding high school students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. According to the NHS constitution, the purpose of this organization is "to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools" On Thursday evening students were inducted into Lyme-Old Lyme's Chapter of the National Honor Society. Last years inductees presented this years group by reading a brief biography of each student. It was an impressive ceremony! Congratulations to all newly inducted NHS students! Comments are closed.
