 As we begin another school year, there are a few changes we need to share related to the school food service program. Please join us in welcoming Alfonso Laderosa as the district’s new Director of Food Service. Foe has over 25 years of food and beverage experience and is excited to share his knowledge and expertise with our students. Although some funding to support free meals still exists, the district will be reverting back to full paid meals once that transition funding is fully expended which is most likely sometime this fall. Notification will be made once that has occurred. Please ensure your student has enough funds on their account to cover additional meals or ala carte purchases and submit a free/reduced application for consideration (https://www.region18.org/parents/lunch-menus) if you believe your child is eligible based upon family income. Those under SNAP, Husky etc. will continue to be directly certified by the state.
