On January 10, Lyme-Old Lyme's 'Amped Up' Show Choir put on an amazing performance of Darin Hamou's life experiences as a refugee. The gala began with a delicious catered dinner by Sal's Pizza accompanied by a wonderful display of talent by the seniors (and some juniors) of some specially selected music and song. The main event was a powerful and moving representation of Darin and her family's travels that brought them from Aleppo to Turkey and finally to the United States. It was a very exciting evening.
