Rotary Student of the Month: Business
Congratulations to Dylan Hettick-Harlow for being named Rotary's May Student of the Month for Business. Dylan was selected due to his excellence in the field. Dylan has already put to use the skills and knowledge he has learned and has created a business called The Community Shift, complete with its own website and business cards. Dylan started with an idea his freshman year and it became a reality his junior year. Dylan has put to use his business savvy to together with his environmental consciousness to create a 'social idea': "The theory is to establish sites on Organic Farms within the United States. By doing this, a fresh source of food is automatically provided." He has spoken to clubs and organizations about The Community Shift. Dr. Hedwall and I cannot wait to watch Dylan’s endeavor grow.
