Rotary Student of the Month: Fine Arts

Congratulations to  Marina Melluzo for being selected as the April Rotary Student of the Month for her passion and perseverance in the field of Fine Arts.  Marina  has excelled at drawing and painting since her freshman year, and has recently shown a gift for sculpture, demonstrating amazing ability within weeks of taking up the medium. She is extremely diligent, working long hours on portfolio pieces even during quarantine, has consistently offered instruction to less advanced students during all four of her years at the high school, and has distinguished herself academically in spite of challenges related to dyslexia. In visual art her passion, generosity and skill are second to none.
