Rotary Student of the Month: Mathematics

Congratulations to Nikolai Stephens-Zumbaum for being selected by the Math Department as the Rotary Student of the Month for his excellence in Mathematics. He was recognized this past week along with students from Westbrook and Old Saybrook at the Rotary Breakfast. Mrs. Leen recognized and celebrated Nikolai's many accomplishments both in and out of the classroom. He is a leader in the classroom as a critical thinker and problem-solver consistently challenging himself. He is also a true leader on the LOLHS Math Team, joining even before he was at the high school. He is noted as being encouraging, enthusiastic and a top scorer for the team.
