This week, a group from the Spanish Honor Society decided to take a more in-depth look towards Latin American politics, so we could not only understand how the country and their government grappled with COVID-19, but also possible struggles within the government. Each country has a researched portion about their political leader, and how they have affected their own country. I believe that this group’s presentation is crucial because many if not all of the students at LOLHS may not have even known about any of these past allegations or problems within Latin American politics. From Bolivia, to Columbia, and Chile, all of these countries have and still have problems within their governments and countries, and our group hopes that our bulletin board may shed even a slight amount of light on political problems that affect Latin Americans.
