After 46 days of working on the 2019 robot, the Technoticks from LOLHS and ELHS are ready to put it away until competition. Build season was the time between January 5th and February 19th, in which teams were able to work on the robot that they would compete with for the entire year. At the kickoff, the teams learn what the game will entail this year, and therefore, what they will spend the next month working on getting their robot to do. For more information on the game, check out the video below. The technoticks have been working hard this year, in order to do well. Team 236 is a Hall of Fame team, they won a national award a few years back and are therefore able to compete in national competitions, no matter their standings in local competitions. Despite this, the team wants to do their best to earn their title and prestige. The first competition is in Waterbury, CT on May 9th. They have 6 remaining hours that they can use up to the competition to put final finishing touches on the robot.
