On Thursday, April 25th, the LOLHS Unified Sports team participated in their first spring event of the season! Bacon Academy hosted a volleyball tournament that featured a total of 6 teams, all of which were announced to a sea of fans during their very own Welcoming Ceremony. All teams chorally stated the Teammate Oath and vowed to be brave in every attempt of the sport despite the outcome. We even lit the torch to symbolize the start of our games! All partners and athletes left with many laughs, great memories, a belly full of healthy snacks, and their very own medal! If you see the athletes and partners, please congratulate them on a job fantastically done! Our next event is Monday, April 29 when LOLHS will host Old Saybrook for a kickball tournament from 3:00-5:00. All are welcome to spectate! WAY TO GO WILDCATS! Comments are closed.
