Monday, November 12, proved to be, yet again, a wonderful demonstration of LOLHS' gratitude and honor for our local Veterans. Our Wildcat Band and Chorus performed with heart and soul that stole the show. Commander Glenn Elliott was selected as this year's guest speaker to honor not only his 20 years of service to our country in the Navy, but also for the 20 years that he has devoted to the Lyme-Old Lyme community. Connor Wyman received the Voice of Democracy Award and was recognized by the local VFW. He gave his thoughtful, award-winning speech to the audience: "Why my voice matters". Thanks to Mr. Wilson, you are able to access a recording of the assembly, music, speeches and all via the link below!... ENJOY! Comments are closed.
