I hope you have all had relaxing, well-deserved summer and you are getting ready to come BACK TO SCHOOL in a little under a week! We have spent the summer planning and preparing for your return and thanks to our hardworking Maintenance Crew and Student Work Crew, our school is getting in tip-top shape and will be ready for your first day on Thursday, August 25th. Take a minute to review the information below so you well-infomred and ready for a FABULOUS 2022-23 school year WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO THIS YEAR:First Two Days of School: We have a special schedule for Thursday (A day) and Friday (B day) but we will begin each day in homeroom followed by class meeting or advisory. Below you will find the bell schedule with more details. Bell Schedule for 22-23: We continue to follow A/B day schedule this year. Classes continue to be 85 minutes however, we have a slight change in our lunch waves. Lunches will be a luxiourious 30 minutes with two lunch waves. On Wednesday's we continue to hold Advisory or Academic Review on alternating Wednesdays. Students (and parents) are able to view the Canvas calendar under LOLHS Events or Rotation Days to find out the schedule for Advisory and Academic Review. Here is a link to the revised daily bell schedule. Parking Passes: Students who will be driving to school must have a parking pass. This year, faculty and student parking passes have changed from a hang tag to a decal.
Senior Privileges: Seniors are welcome to enjoy their senior priviledge of late arrival and/or early dismissal BEGINNING ON SEPTEMBER 12th. Any senior must have a parent/ guardian register them for this priviledge by submitting the PowerSchool form LOLHS Parent/Student Handbook: Our Parent/Student Handbook is digital! Students can find it on the LOLHS Student Canvas Course and parents can access the link on the Region 18 website under the LOLHS - Our School - Scroll down to Handbook for Parents and Students.
